Welding & Duct Repair
Welding & Duct Repair
We provide professional welding and structural repairs for commercial kitchen exhaust duct systems in accordance with NFPA 96’ and applicable Ontario fire code requirements.
Grease duct systems are required to be continuously welded and liquid-tight. Over time, seams, joints, and penetrations may develop leaks due to vibration, corrosion, or previous improper modifications. When identified, these areas can be properly repaired to restore system integrity and compliance.

Before any welding or hot work is performed on grease duct systems, the affected duct section must be cleaned.
Relevant standards include:
-
NFPA 96’ – Section 4.1.5
